A Japanese food company in Pasadena, California is looking for an Inside Sales (Account Manager).
<Job Summary>
The Inside Sales (Account Manager) position is responsible for preparing necessary documents for efficient import/export of products, responding to questions and requests from clients, preparing reports by collecting data and analyzing trends, and negotiating contracts to expand and maintain relationships with existing clients. Provide support to expand and maintain relationships with existing clients.

- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Input, update, and maintenance of invoice data and other data existing in company systems
- Sending invoices to clients
- Prepare necessary documents for expedited import/export
- Checking for correct billing of goods for shipping, handling, storage, and customs duties
- Prepare shipping schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Responding to client inquiries regarding goods, shipping, and industry in general.
- Provide clients with various information regarding quotes, credit terms, and bid specifications.
- Negotiate and prepare contracts regarding service agreements, terms of sale, pricing, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and delivery of goods.
- Provide regular performance reports to the manager
- Data collection, trend analysis, and reporting
- Utilize knowledge of product characteristics and industry to meet client needs
- Other duties as assigned
<Requirements>
- Must have a U.S. work visa
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and Japanese
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Knowledge of transportation rules and regulations preferred.
- Experience with customs and transportation documentation preferred.
- Experience in trading, wholesale and food industry preferred.
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel for meetings with clients and suppliers.
