A Japanese restaurant located in Del Mar, San Diego, California, is currently seeking candidates for the position of head sushi chef. If you’re looking to work in a warm, family-oriented environment, this opportunity might be ideal for you.
Upon joining, you will first be introduced to the restaurant’s culture and work style, with the goal of eventually becoming an active member of the team as the head sushi chef.

Responsibilities include preparing sushi (nigiri, omakase, rolls) and handling fish preparation. After becoming familiar with the store’s culture and work style, you will be expected to lead the team as the head sushi chef and work to enhance the restaurant’s success.

• Monday to Friday:
Lunch: 11:30am – 2:00pm
Dinner: 5:00pm – (Last Call at 8:00pm)
• Saturday and Sunday:
Lunch: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
Dinner: 5:00pm – (Last Call at 8:00pm)

<Requirements>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a sushi chef.
• Ability to communicate at a level suitable for customer service (Japanese business-level language required).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Possession of a U.S. driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
