A Japanese company is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Japanese Chef at a high-end Japanese restaurant that will be opening in Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas starting in the winter of 2025.

You will be required to undergo a one-year training program in Japan to build your skills and expertise, after which you will be assigned to work at our restaurant in the United States.
<Job Overview>
[In Japan]
・You will spend approximately one year training at our partner establishments in Japan to learn the restaurant’s flavor, recipes, and techniques. After the training, you will join the cooking team at our high-end Japanese restaurant opening in the U.S. in the winter of 2025. ※Note: The duration of the training period may vary depending on individual cooking skills and the restaurant’s opening schedule.
[After Arrival in the U.S.]
・You will be involved in restaurant opening preparations, including arranging equipment, supplies, and ingredients; prepping, cooking, plating, customer service; ordering food, beverages, and seasonings; and managing inventory.
・You will regularly meet with the partner restaurant to maintain Japanese standards and ensure quality.
<Required Qualifications>
・Japanese nationality and holder of a U.S. Green Card (necessary for employment in Japan)
・Japanese nationality and holder of a U.S. work visa (necessary for employment in Japan)
※ The cost of visa transfer or acquisition will be covered by the company.
・Minimum of 3 years of hands-on culinary experience (no restrictions on cuisine type or culinary certification)
※ Preference will be given to those with culinary licenses or graduates of culinary schools.
・Able to commit to 1 year of training in Japan and then 4 years of employment in the U.S.
・Bilingual in English and Japanese
・Valid driver’s license
※Note: Travel expenses for the trip to Japan will be provided separately. (Travel reimbursement will be provided in Japanese yen after employment.)
