Assistant Office Manager | Major Food Trading Company

We are looking for an organized and proactive **Assistant Office Manager** to help run daily operations at one of our branch offices. This role supports office procedures, coordinates with multiple departments, and helps create a productive work environment. You’ll work closely with the Office Manager and Branch leadership to improve workflows and support team success.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Oversee daily office operations (including sales and purchase orders)
– Assist the Branch Manager in implementing office strategy
– Lead onboarding and training for new hires
– Manage attendance, tardiness, and overtime tracking
– Act as a liaison between sales, logistics, and admin teams
– Submit reports to local/state/federal authorities as needed
– Organize and lead physical inventory processes and data entry
– Communicate with HQ and external vendors when required
– Support recruitment and interview processes during staff hiring
– Propose improvements to operations and assist with budgeting
– Handle unexpected absences by reallocating work or covering tasks
– Support staff performance reviews, coaching, and team development
– Monitor operational KPIs and prepare related reports
– Help with import-related documentation and customs clearance
– Perform other office tasks as assigned

### **Requirements & Qualifications**
-English (Japanese-English, Korean-English, Chinese-English bilingual preferred)
– 2+ years of office management or administrative experience
– Understanding of HR functions (recruitment, training, attendance)
– Strong leadership and team development skills
– Time management and multitasking ability
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
– Clear written and verbal communication (English)
– Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
– Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

 

Employment Status  Full ~Time
Position Assistant Office Manager
Language English (Japanese-English, Korean-English, Chinese-English bilingual preferred)
Working Hours 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day
from 9am to 6pm.
*Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are days off.
*Break time: 1 hour
Salary $68,640–$75,542 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
