A Japanese-owned real estate company located in Van Nuys, California is seeking an Accounting・Sales Assistant.
The company operates a wide range of real estate businesses, primarily in the Los Angeles area, including property acquisitions, value-add projects, property management, and real estate development.
<Job Responsibilities>
English-based accounting tasks:

Daily bookkeeping operations (journal entries, payment processing, accounts payable/receivable management)

Preparation of financial documents and journal entries

Cash management and expense calculations
-
Monthly closing procedures
-
Invoice creation and management
-
Correspondence with the IRS
-
Support for corporate tax filings
Back-office Duties:

Sales assistant
-
Phone handling
-
Organizing documents and managing organizational structure
-
Basic office cleaning and supplies management
-
Web research and related tasks
Note: Both of the above duties will be performed in addition to the primary responsibilities.
<Requirements>

Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Bilingual in Japanese and English with strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

Practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience in sales assistance

Strong sense of ethics and responsibility in handling confidential information
