A large Japanese food company located in the Chino, CA area is looking for a Marketing Coordinator.
<Key Responsibilities>
Product & Market Research
· Conduct research on consumer trends, preferences, and purchasing behavior in the food category
· Analyze the competitive landscape and identify product opportunities and white space
· Stay up to date on culinary and industry trends
Product Development Coordination
· Contribute to new product concepts and lead coordination with suppliers, designers, and internal teams
· Help evaluate samples, packaging specs, and product fit
· Collaborate with production to align product positioning and quality
Campaign Development & Execution
· Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns (offline, digital, social, in-store, email, etc.)
· Coordinate timelines and deliverables for new product launches and seasonal promotions
Content & Communication
· Write and edit product descriptions, packaging copy, digital content, and advertising materials
· Support creative asset development using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with sales and production teams to execute launch strategies
· Lead internal communication efforts around product development timelines and progress
Performance Monitoring
· Monitor marketing and product performance data
· Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Event & Trade Show Support
· Coordinate samples, and promotional materials for trade shows and sampling events
· Attend events to communicate directly with consumers and buyers, introducing products and sharing the brand’s story
<Required Skills & Qualifications>
· 2–3 years of experience in product marketing, food marketing, or a related field (preferably in food or CPG)
· Ability to handle basic cooking tasks (e.g., product testing, recipe content, events)
· Interest in Japanese or Asian cuisine and food culture
· Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Basic knowledge of major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
· Experience with Canva, CapCut, or other basic design/video tools (preferred)
<Preferred Qualifications >
· Experience with photo and video shooting
· Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator
· Experience with WordPress
· Understanding of Google Analytics and/or Google Ads
· Experience in brand development or product launch planning
· Event coordination or trade show support experience

· Possibility of weekend work depending on business needs
· Remote work one to two days per week. Subject to change at the company’s discretion.
