A major Japanese logistics company in west coast is seeking an Account Executive.

<Job Overview>
Account Executive will be responsible for selling shipping and logistics
services to customers with diverse transportation needs. The Account Executive will be
responsible for growing the business primarily through generating sales leads, soliciting
new accounts through face-to-face meetings and presentations, increasing the services
provided on current accounts, and selling all of services.
<Responsibilities>
・Generate revenue and grow client base: Cold Call, prospect, qualify leads and other new
business opportunities, schedule appointments, solidify relationship and close new
business in the Western Region.
・Provide solution-based proposals to customers/prospects for our services.
・Resolve complications utilizing problem solving skills.
・Meet agreed budget targets for revenue/profit, volume, etc.
・Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow business.
・On Boarding customers in accordance with company policies.
・Actively updating all activity within our CRM data platform
・Meeting KPI objectives set forth by your managers.
・Travel or visits to customers site of business to conduct presentations and attend
meetings.
・Become a counterpart of forwarding members in each country.
**Travel required: Approximately 2–4 times per month
<Qualifications>
・Bilingual in Spanish and English (Japanese proficiency is a plus)
・Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
・Must be self-driven, a strong negotiator and results oriented.
・Excellent communication and presentation skills.
・Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
・Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in transportation and logistics industry.
・Industry experience is not required; career changers from other industries are welcome.
・Knowledge of freight forwarding and import/export business a plus
・Valid driver’s license.
