A boutique cross-border investment bank located in Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join its growing team.
<Responsibilities>
- Execute the day-to-day activities of attestation and non-attestation engagements of various clients
- Detect and communicate accounting and auditing matter to managers and partners
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
- Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow from the client to the team
- Understand and utilize Audit Methodology
- Supervise Audit staffs and interns on engagements
<Qualifications>
- Minimum of two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
- CPA or parts passed required
- Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Flexibility to work on non-attestation services such as bookkeeping, miscellaneous tax (property tax, sales tax etc.), payroll, M&A, human resource, and some other consulting services
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Japanese language skill is a bonus
