Sales & Customer Support | Major Japanese Logistics Company

A leading Japanese logistics company located near the airport in Seattle, Washington is seeking a Sales & Customer Support professional for its international moving business.

 

<Job Description>

  • Manage client relationships and oversee overall sales activities in Seattle, Washington

  • Prepare quotations, contracts, sales proposals, and carry out promotional activities

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve regional sales targets, including sales forecasting and reporting

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and build sales strategies

  • Collaborate with headquarters and related departments, and participate in special projects

  • Act as a liaison between customers and vendors, coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, trucking companies, and facilities

  • Monitor and manage the status of air and ocean freight shipments, and process invoices for terminal and port usage fees

  • Handle administrative tasks including invoice preparation, billing, and daily report creation

  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person meetings

  • Respond to customer inquiries and escalate to the appropriate department when necessary

 

<Requirements>

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English preferred

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of management experience

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (call center experience a plus)

  • Knowledge or experience in logistics preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to build customer relationships and work effectively in a team environment

  • Must possess valid U.S. work authorization

Salary

Annual salary $40K – $60K (to be determined after interview based on experience)
*Incentive will be added.

*Starting from $40K for candidates with no prior experience
