Senior IT Manager Executive

A large IT company located in Michigan is looking for a Senior IT Manager Executive to join their team.

This position is responsible for selling products by implementing sales plans; implementing IT environment ordered from customers; providing IT support services; supervising engineer staff.

 

<Job Description>

•Plan and develop products of system integration services.
•Make investigation into new product lines and test them at our laboratory to evaluate if they meet customer’s requests.
•Maintain or obtain necessary certification to resale the system integration products.
•Support Sales department to promote the company’s system integration services.
•Prepare accurate and self-explanatory sales presentations and proposals, for the purposes of presenting and explaining our products to customers.
•Provide customers with system integration service for designing, installing, maintaining, and improving their System by working closely with customers and the other departments.
•Efficiently demonstrate and explain the operation and use of our products to customers.
•Select the correct products and/or assist customers in making product selections, based on the customers’ needs, product specifications, applicable regulations, specifications  and/or applications.
•Troubleshoot regarding our customer’s system.
•Keep the customer’s data updated to share information with co-workers.
•Submit report to the supervisor in a timely manner on progress and results of daily activities.
•Responsible to manage the daily work log and attendance of engineer staff. Manage the 1st evaluation of engineer staff.
•Maintains engineer staff by orienting and training employees.
•Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system, including but not limited to updating agent scripts, responding to alerts, monitoring dashboard, and periodic system reviews;
•Work with sales teams and engineers for all projects, in order to identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients;
•Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure;
•Communicate with customers as required, so as to keep them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages, etc.;
•Work alongside all engineers to ensure that they are acquiring the necessary skill sets to perform their job functions and meet the set departmental and individual goals; and
•Perform any and all other related duties, as assigned by the company, from time to time.

 

<Requirements>

The person must meet following qualifications and willing to improve one’s abilities under supervisor’s instructions:
•Fluency in Japanese, business level English.
•5+ years’ hands-on experience in implementation of servers, network and other IT systems.
•Experience with SI project management
•Ability to positively communicate with customers
•Ability to report the result of trouble shooting
•Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
•Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
•Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment Qualified candidates
•Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to research into systems issues and products as required and necessary
•Ability to communicate efficiently, both in technical and user-friendly language
•Highly self-motivated, as it pertains to technology
•Expertise in basic Cisco CLI commands for Cisco Catalyst switches and low-end routers
•Able to perform IT related basic mathematics, including subnet
•Calculations, binary-hex-decimal conversions, and some basic Boolean Algebra calculations
•Virus/Malware removal, troubleshooting BSOD, data recovery, user profile migration knowledge, both manually and using automated software
•Strong basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless, VLANs, basic routing/switching, NAT, etc.
•VPN connectivity troubleshooting and configuration (Cisco, Fortinet, PaloAlto, IPSec)
•WAN Technology (SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN)
•vSphere,  Hyper-V and Terminal Services
•Windows server Administration (2012-2019), Domain, DHCP, DNS and File share service
•Security software, such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologies
•Cloud related knowledge and experience such as Azure, Google, AWS
