A large Japanese logistics company in Rancho Dominguez, CA, is currently seeking a sales position.

[Sales & Marketing]
– Develop sales contacts for new business opportunities. Identify new customer contacts through marketing research.
– Identify potential customers and contact them or their assigned customers to introduce products and services.
– Conducts thorough market research before proposing and offering services to customers.
– Prepares and maintains sales materials to be presented to customers.
– Conduct sales presentations to existing customers to introduce new services.
– Follow up on new business opportunities and referrals obtained through sales activities.
– After-sales activities, submit quotations, and schedule meetings with existing customers.
– Prepare price quotes and sales contracts, and check the status of ordered services.
– Provide weekly customer activity reports, including quotes, orders, and problems.
– Keeps Sales Supervisor informed of customer relationships.
– Obtains new and updated customer information and submits it to the appropriate department.
– Develop a greater knowledge and familiarity with services.
– Ensure the collection of all accounts receivable and follow up with customers when payments are late and as needed.
– Attend trade shows and marketing events to promote company services and identify new businesses.
– Conduct market research to anticipate competitor and market trends and report results to sales representatives.
[Customer Service ]
– Responsible for responding to customer questions and inquiries regarding services.
– Reports and investigates customer complaints and responds to and handles complaints.
– Report regularly to the Sales Supervisor and customers on areas for improvement.
– Work closely with customers to ensure smooth transactions.
– Process new business orders and provide information regarding current pricing and service changes.
– Receive and resolve customer complaints via phone or email.
– Perform troubleshooting and work internally and with customers on specific issues.

– Continually improve business processes and seek more efficient and less costly ways and means of doing business.
– Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
– Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
– Report all irregularities and issues to management for resolution.
– Maintain good communication with management, office staff, and external parties.
– Follow company policies and procedures.
– Maintain a clean and safe work area.
– Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
<Requirements>
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- At least 2 years of experience working for Freight Forwarder or International Courier Company
- PC skills, knowledge of logistics, etc.
- Drivers License
