Sales Associate

A large Japanese food wholesaler in Santa Fe Springs, CA is looking for an individual to fill a sales position.

<Job Summary>

Under general supervision, the Sales Associate is responsible for achieving short and long term sales goals as the company’s primary sales representative. Goals are achieved by retaining existing customers in the assigned territory. As a Sales Associate, you must have a high degree of flexibility. You will also be required to coordinate sales activities and promotions with respect to the needs, concerns, and schedules of other employees and managers of the company, customers, and suppliers.

<Job Description>

  • Visit clients and potential clients’ facilities to provide the information and support necessary to secure and retain business.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop friendly relationships with customers in assigned territory for maximum benefit.
  • Responsible for selling our products to all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Grow the business by anticipating customer needs, determining appropriate solutions to business problems, and providing an overall high level of customer service.
  • Communicate plans to customers and effectively manage resources to support sales volume.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, as well as information and feedback gathered through field activities, to appropriate company staff.
  • Work with the accounting department to ensure accounts receivable are collected.
  • Work with the Sales Manager (Assistant) to set sales goals for the territory.
  • Work with assigned operations and logistics staff to achieve territory sales goals.
  • Provide timely reporting of field activities to support business and product planning.
  • Submit sales activity reports and other reports as required.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts.
  • Other duties as directed.

 

<Requirements>

  • Bilingual in Chinese and English required.
  • High School Degree / GED
  • 1-2 years sales experience in Asian food industry preferred
  • Basic PC skills
  • Must have work status to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

National Account – Sales Associate

Working Hours Work 5 days from Monday to Friday 8 hours a day
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are off.
Break time: 1 hour
Salary $47,300 ~ 70,000 Annually +  Bonus (to be determined after interview based on experience)
