A Japanese food wholesaler in Kent, Washington is looking for a National Sales Administrator.

<Job Description>

  • Report project status to the Branch Manager via email, phone, or in person, depending on various situations.
  • Prepare periodic reports showing project information.
  • Greet and assist brokers, customers, and vendors and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Review customer orders and ensure that orders are being processed through the order processing system.
  • Receive and respond to inquiries from brokers via telephone, email, or other means regarding order information such as unit prices, inventory, ship dates, and expected delays. Responds to inquiries and complaints from brokers and contacts the appropriate person.
  • Communicates with internal and external sources to verify availability of requested items.
  • Organize, maintain, and archive relevant records (orders, vendor communications, commission information, etc.).
  • Communicate cross-departmentally with all internal employees involved in the project.
  • Monitor and update shipping schedules to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Follow up with relevant parties (e.g., Japanese product development department, vendors/shippers, branches, brokers, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Responsible for daily registration tasks such as printing invoices, reconciling purchase orders as needed, verifying payment, forwarding cash receipts to the accounting department, mailing invoices, preparing payment instructions, and filing permanent copies.
  • Gathers relevant information to calculate commissions payable to brokers and prepares and verifies payment instructions.
  • Provide product information to brokers, including price, delivery date, availability, backorders, functionally equivalent cross-matches, and value-added product information.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

<Requirements>

  • Must have a U.S. work visa
  • Knowledge of Asian food products
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Basic computer experience (Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint))

Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are off.
Break time: 1 hour
Salary $23.21-$30.95 (to be determined after interview based on experience)
*40 hours per week (this is an hourly position)
