Inside Sales Associate

A Japanese food specialty trading company in El Monte, CA, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate.

*Job Description:

– Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas as the Assistant Division Manager assigned.

– Seek to penetrate the US consumer base by initiating new projects/products/programs.

– Manage brokers, set sales goals, and implement strategies accordingly.

– Visit clients and potential clients to provide support and information and sell products.

– Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure the timely collection of payments.

– Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building trusting relationships.

– Respond and communicate with all customers on time.

– Coordinate urgent deliveries to meet customer needs.

– Explain to customers how products and services can help them.

– Enter and update orders into the company database.

– Attend weekly sales meetings.

– Participate in semi-annual inventories on designated days, possibly weekends.

– Participate in company events and functions outside of regular working hours.

– Perform other duties as assigned.

<Requirements>

• Business level English, conversational level Japanese
• Two or more years of food or alcohol sales experience
• Two or more years of sales or customer service experience
• Must have status to work in the U.S.
