A Japanese restaurant chain with over 20 locations across the United States is seeking candidates who can excel as Restaurant Manager / Store Manager (Candidate) .
The available locations are: Northern California (Silicon Valley area), Los Angeles area, Texas area, and New York area.
After training and skill assessment, placement will be determined based on experience and ability.
If you have prior experience as a store manager, you can leverage your skills, and even if you have not held a store manager position, this is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow into a managerial role.
<Job Overview>
You will be responsible for various store manager duties, tailored to your experience, which include customer service, staff management, store management, and overall operations.
・Quality control, hygiene management, scheduling, recruitment, training, etc.
・Communicating with customers and staff members during daily operations.
<Requirements>
・At least 4 years of full-time work experience in the restaurant industry in Japan (Part-time experience may be considered upon discussion).
・English proficiency (conversational level or higher is preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
・Experience with ramen, udon, shabu-shabu, or soba.
・Experience in ramen, udon, or soba restaurant operations.
・Experience in shabu-shabu, izakaya, or Japanese cuisine.
・Possession of culinary certifications such as cooking license, food sanitation qualifications, pastry sanitation certificates, noodle-making skills, etc.
・College degree, preferably in economics, or graduation from a culinary school.
・Certifications such as Ramen Master, Noodle Sommelier, Sake Sommelier, etc.
