A Japanese food manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking an IT and internal portal management position.

Manage IT help desk and internal portal for a food manufacturer.
<Job Description>
1. Windows 10/11 PC configuration (OS installation, updates)
2. Network configuration (domain connection, network settings, remote desktop, VPN, printers, etc.)
3. installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office 365
4. internal email settings
5. Mobile devices (iPhone/Android Tablet), Audio/Visual device settings
6. troubleshooting/resolving various problems when they occur
7. employee training
8. new equipment/systems, etc.
8. research, planning, and promotion of projects to introduce new equipment/systems, etc.
9. access management to shared servers by MS 365/SharePoint/Intune
10. portal design/operation and overall management of each department
11. problem resolution in collaboration with external IT vendors
12. other duties and miscellaneous tasks as necessary and as directed by the supervisor.
<Requirements>
・At least 1 year of experience in the above
・Basic knowledge of PC, peripherals, and network hardware and software (at least the level of being able to build one’s own PC)
・Microsoft Office/365 (SharePoint, Team, etc. settings, access restrictions, etc.)
・Ability to use Office software to prepare reports, explanations, and documents related to new projects.
・Ability to explain obstacles and situations and communicate procedures, solutions, and improvement plans to other employees without using jargon.
・Language: Japanese (business conversation level to native level), English (business conversation level or above)
