Arrive at work each working day according to the published schedule and be prepared to work in the appropriate uniform
Create a schedule for the bartender staff
Promote and maintain the beverage program within the restaurant
Ensure all products are agitated and ordered
Responsible for all bar/well inventory logs
Work with bar staff, chef and supervisor to prepare seasonal beverage items
Responsible for maintaining the highest quality of cleanliness in all bar/well operations
Ensure all bar/well facilities and equipment are clean, operational and maintained
Notify Manager/Supervisor of any repair issues.
Manages bar staff, chefs, and supervisor staff to follow all daily checklists including opening, mid-shift, and closing.
Coordinate with servers and staff to provide timely and accurate drink menu orders
Ensure safe drink handling and drink preparation.
Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures in accordance with the Employee Handbook and posted policies and procedures.
Attend all scheduled shift service lineups and meetings.
Maintain and support a positive and collaborative culture throughout the organization and fully embrace its culture and values
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and co-workers
Work to improve serving staff’s food and beverage knowledge through effective coaching and essential testing
Strive to keep the restaurant clean and sanitary at all times in accordance with health and safety standards
Monitor server dress code and sanitation and address any issues immediately to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Provide a friendly environment for all guests and ensure that each guest receives exceptional guest service
Implement and maintain guest service standards.
Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentation, signage standards, and monitor inventory levels.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Manage office operations including funds and media management, receiving, inventory, and payroll.
Plan and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments.
Assists in monitoring sales performance through sales reports and comparison shopping analysis.
Recruit, train, develop, and communicate with all staff as well as evaluate performance on a regular basis.
Assist with strategy alignment.
Collaborate with Supervisor to perform other duties as assigned.
3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager/Bar Manager in a high end restaurant.
Qualifications: TIPS (Training Intervention ProcedureS)
Asian food and beverage experience
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Strong time management skills and accuracy in handling a variety of tasks
Proficient problem solving and analytical skills
