Account Payable (Accounting)

A large logistics company in the South Bay (Gardena area), California is looking for an Accounting Payable staff member to join their team.
Hybrid work available, bonus program, and full benefits.

 

<Job Description>

1) Prepare, reconcile, and distribute accounting reports
-Prepare and maintain spreadsheets related to financial analysis
-Processing and tracking of transaction entries
-Administrative support
-Attempt to resolve various accounting issues and coordinate within the accounting department
-Monitors systems and operations, ensuring smooth workflow
-Perform duties as directed

2) Manage all internal A/P transactions and process A/P online payments
-Call customers regarding A/P transactions and follow up on past due invoices.
-A/P check handling
-Prepare copies and statements of accounts payable invoices. Post accounts payable transactions for settlement in Japan. Compile and ship monthly accounts payable invoices to Japan.
-Prepare daily list of credit card payments from customers and distribute to A/P for posting.

 

<Requirements>

  • Must have a visa to work in the U.S., required.
  • Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience in accounting/accounting position, degree preferred
  • Japanese language ability preferred

Working Hours Work 5 days Monday-Friday 9am-6pm or 8 hours 8:30am-5:30pm (can be negotiated.)
Weekends and holidays are off.
Break time: 1 hour
Salary $46,000+ Bonus (to be determined after interview based on experience)
