Warehouse Supervisor｜Major Japanese logistics company

A major Japanese logistics company in Torrance, CA is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.

<Job Summary>

You will supervise, coordinate, and delegate activities, assign goals, monitor progress, and evaluate results. You will also be required to implement and communicate remedial actions to associates, customers, and management to enforce company policy and regulatory compliance.

This position requires ensuring that processes are followed when associates are engaged in receiving and inspecting products, verifying, maintaining records, and preparing materials for shipment.

<Job Description>

• Investigate and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, and location management.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints and DTRs, PRRs, and RDRs related to FG deliveries in a timely manner.
• Maintains and submits monthly reports to management.
• Maintains and repairs facilities in assigned area of operation.
• Provide warehouse support/service to internal customers as needed.
• Evaluates warehousing/handling systems and processes for inbound and outbound shipments to and from the facility.
• Oversees and reviews assigned warehouse operations customer systems related to the task.
• Maintains ISO training and process quality records on a current basis.
• Provides monthly reports to management reflecting changed/updated processes and training documentation.
• Monitors revenue and volume on a monthly basis.
• Monitors departmental resources (headcount, space, equipment).
• Maintains our equipment and reports on equipment maintenance and safety issues.
• Monitors and supports departmental expenses. Works with the Vice President to establish and maintain expenses within the approved budget.
• Reviews TSA and C-TPAT security as needed.
• Prepare identified team and management reports and department KPIs.
• Perform KPI/Q-Day checklists as needed.
• Product training will be provided.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and performs physical inventories as required by customer and legal requirements.
• Protects our and our customers’ assets and property with inventories at all times.

<Requirements>

• Required Experience:5-6 years experience in warehousing/operations/logistics
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Must have work status to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
