looking for a Sushi/Kappo Chef to work at our one Michelin star sushi restaurant in San Francisco, California.
This restaurant is planning to open new restaurants in the South Bay area of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City, so they are looking for a sushi/kappo chef to work there as well.
<Job Summary>
– Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and co-workers
– Prepare all types of sushi and Japanese food, including making omakase sushi and sashimi
– Perform other duties and special projects as requested by supervisor
<Requirements>
Must have work status to work in the U.S.
Experience working in a Japanese sushi or kappo restaurant: 3 years or more
Able to work well in a team environment
Experience with omakase sushi preferred
Willingness to work long hours preferred
Willingness to learn and speak English preferred
Knowledge of Japanese Sake preferred
