<Job Responsibilities>
•Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments
•Assist with creating and requesting checks, and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers
• Prepare household employer payroll tax filings
• Process electronic filing of tax returns
• Maintain tax refund ledgers
• Review and compare gains/losses
• Maintain a tax database to track all client deadlines and filings
• Maintain data in the tax reporting system
• Print, collate, and mail tax returns to clients
• Scan and organize electronic tax documents
• Print and mail notices to the IRS and State agencies
<Qualifications>
• Must have a work status that allows employment in the U.S. (OPT not accepted)
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
• Experience working as an accountant in an accounting firm, or experience in bookkeeping/tax returns is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
• Must have obtained a CPA certification or fulfill the 150 credit hours required for certification
• Knowledge or experience with ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is a plus
