Trading company of a major Japanese group company in Seattle, Washington is looking for a person who can work in a sales position.

Looking for someone with sales experience in Japan, even if you do not have experience working in the U.S!


<Job Summary>

A trading company that imports and exports in three areas: industry (machinery, chemicals/pharmaceuticals, electrical product parts, natural rubber, etc.), food (livestock, agriculture, wellness, fisheries), and life (sewing related). At the Seattle branch, the company will mainly handle livestock, fisheries, wellness, agricultural products, and electrical product parts, and will aim to develop new business and sell various products such as pet-related products, Japanese beef, and natural rubber to the United States.

The main responsibilities of this position will be to handle sales of parts used in electrical products and leakage sensors made in Japan to the U.S. In addition to this, the position will also provide support for livestock and pet businesses, etc. The candidate should not have any knowledge or experience in these areas, but should be able to gain knowledge while working with the sales representative. If necessary, you will be required to visit manufacturers for short-term training. However, would prefer someone who has a deep interest in this or other electrical product components.


<Job Description>

  • Prepare daily sales activity reports and submit and report to the management team.
  • Work with the management team to improve marketing materials.
  • Make presentations using marketing materials.
  • Update customer information in the company’s customer database and check and report on sales progress.
  • Understands industry markets and trends in order to expand and grow company business.
  • Travel to customer locations to provide explanations when necessary.
  • Manage and organize daily work schedule.
  • Plan business trips.
  • Research existing and new customers to enhance sales.
  • Refer to and complete price lists and product brochures.
  • Submit and prepare reports on sales activity results.
  • Submits daily reports, weekly work plans, and other activity and result reports, and shares information with the management team.



  • Must have a U.S. work visa (visa support is not provided).
  • Must be able to travel within the U.S. or internationally.
  • Business level English, native level Japanese
  • At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. driver’s license.
