A Japanese food trading company in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Sales Assistant.
Assist sales associates with order entry and paperwork.
Greet and direct visitors at the front desk and maintain visitor logs.
Answer, screen, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
Receive cash, check, and credit card payments and prepare receipts
Change fresh fish order quantities in the system
Communicate with vendors regarding price updates
Prepare flyers to advertise company products
Calculate costs and set product pricing to determine profit margins
Assist with other sales related tasks, etc.
Bilingual in Japanese and English (business level)
High school diploma or higher
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
At least 1 year of experience in an administrative position
1+ years of related experience or food industry experience preferred
