A Japanese food manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, CA is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team.
<Job Summary>
Support tasks from customer order receipt to product shipment in a food manufacturing company.
<Job Description>
・Enter customer orders received into the ERP system (including manufacturing orders for the factory).
・Confirm the scheduled shipment date and notify the customer.
・Monitor the progress of each order and communicate with the customer based on the situation.
・Confirm shipment and notify the accounting department.
・Respond to inquiries from customers or potential new clients.
・Check stock levels for in-house branded products and update information.
・Analyze customer order patterns and provide reordering suggestions to customers.
・Collect sample products and ship them to customers.
・Other duties: Perform other tasks or miscellaneous work as instructed by supervisors when necessary.
<Requirements>
・Experience in order management or similar tasks in a food manufacturing company (1 year or more preferred).
・Experience in customer support, sales administration, or related roles.
・Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
・Basic PC skills (Excel, data entry, scanner operation, etc.).
・Teamwork and communication skills (collaboration with customers, sales, and production departments).
・Language skills: Japanese (business-level to fluent level), English (business-level or higher).
