Sales Account Executive

A large Japanese logistics company in Dallas, TX is currently looking for a Sales Account Executive position.

 

<Job Summary>

The Logistics Sales Account Executive is responsible for leading a team and supporting the Sales Manager to achieve sales/revenue goals. Duties include sales presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts with potential customers for quotes, service agreements, and new business launches. To be successful in this role, you must be dynamic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding in the service and sales process. Experience in logistics sales and/or customer service is required. Semi-annually, sales goals for the past half year are reviewed and the next half year and annual/medium-term goals are set and discussed. The Sales Representative’s objective is to continually increase sales and profits. They provide operational support to sustain the business. They must also be highly motivated and work to achieve their goals.

 

<Job Description>

  • Research and find new clients
  • Visit clients and potential clients in the US and Mexico to assess needs and promote products and services.
  • Work with our company’s sales/marketing and related departments to expand all North American sales zones. (This zone includes both the U.S. and Mexico.)
  • Achieve individual and company sales goals as scheduled.
  • Prepare various sales related reports and customer visit reports (Sales Reports) in a timely manner as requested by management.
  • Sales presentations to various prospective clients.
  • Plan sales schedules and travel based on marketing strategies.
  • Prepare cost estimates for new business sales and report to upper management.
  • Prepare and submit quotations to clients.
  • Updating and submitting quotations to existing clients.
  • Prepare and submit service agreements for each new business.
  • Negotiate service agreements, including terms and conditions of service.
  • Answer client questions regarding credit terms, services, pricing, and inventory.
  • Maintain good communication and customer records.
  • Research and locate subcontractors for the company to expand business and/or increase revenue.
  • Assist management in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Promote company benefits and programs-5’s, TSA, CTPAT, Foreign Trade Zones. Sales Activities
  • Generate leads for the operations team on normal operations and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Primary responsibility for customers to resolve misunderstandings, conflict resolution, and operational and billing issues between customers.
  • Conduct semi-annual customer surveys and provide feedback to each operations team, upper management and customers.

 

<Applicant Qualifications>

– Languages: Japanese, English (business level).

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, logistics, or related field, or minimum required years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

– Required Experience 3-5 years Sales/Logistics Sales

– Required Skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Japanese. Understanding of logistics services, sales processes and dynamics. Excellent interpersonal skills (including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers). Commitment to excellent customer service. PC skills.
