<Job Overview>
This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of new manufacturing and distribution facility in Glen Allen, VA.
This plant specializes in the finishing,
coating, packaging, and shipping of Fiber Cement Siding Products and Other exterior building
materials. This role combines responsibilities in four core functional areas:
1. Machine Operation
2. Material Handling
3. Warehouse Operations
4. Production Control & Inspection
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a team committed to delivering high-performance, design-driven, and sustainable exterior materials to customers across North America.
While the primary responsibilities are outlined below, this role is not limited to those duties and may evolve to include other tasks necessary for the successful operation of the plant. Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes are essential, as the facility promotes cross-training and multi-skilled development.

<Job Duties>
・Operate and monitor machinery used in the finishing and coating of fiber cement siding
panels and related products.
Set up and run machines for custom paint color formulation, paint production, coating application (including ceramic and UV clear coatings), and controlled drying (curing) in ovens.
Ensure consistent coating quality and film thickness according to product specifications.
 Perform routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Report mechanical or quality issues to supervisors immediately to avoid downtime.
・Safely transport raw fiber cement panels, paint materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
・Stage and deliver materials for each stage of production including coating, drying, inspection, and packaging.
・Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and ensure accurate placement and identification of all materials.
・Communicate inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages in a timely and accurate
manner.
・Receive, inspect, and document incoming raw materials, paint components, packaging materials, and other supplies.
・ Prepare finished fiber cement products for outbound shipment by labeling, wrapping, and securing loads to specification.
・Maintain organized storage systems and support accurate stock tracking through manual or digital inventory management tools.
・Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure compliance with FIFO or other inventory policies.
・Keep warehouse workspaces clean, organized, and aligned with safety and operational protocols
・Record and track production performance including output, defects, downtime, and waste
levels for fiber cement siding finishing operations.
・ Support the coordination of daily production schedules, including materials availability and workflow balance.
・ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of coated panels, checking for color accuracy, uniform finish, surface defects, and proper labeling.
・Identify and isolate non-conforming products, reporting issues to supervisors and quality personnel.
・Maintain accurate and timely inspection and production records.
・Support continuous improvement by contributing to visual control systems such as production boards, trackers, and labeling tools.

**Occasional business travel (approximately 15%)
**May include visits to customer offices, warehouses, and active construction sites
**Travel by personal vehicle to nearby states may be required; mileage reimbursement provided per company policy

<Requirements>
・Legally authorized to work in the USA
・Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or production planning, preferably in building materials, coatings, or construction products
• Familiarity with paint mixing, coating, or fiber cement panels is a strong plus
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
• Comfortable handling heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), either independently or with the use of material handling equipment or team assistance
• Willingness to work in a coating/painting environment, including exposure to paint materials and drying ovens
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and safety mindset
• Basic computer and data entry skills (e.g., Excel, WMS, ERP systems)
• Team -oriented with strong communication skills and adaptability
