A major Japanese soup and seasoning manufacturer in Los Angeles, California is looking for an outside sales position. The job will be primarily office-based, but will involve a lot of travel.
If you currently live in Houston, we expect you to move to LA for a few years after the job is approved, and after gaining 1-2 years of sales experience there, you will be transferred to Texas! We will negotiate support for moving expenses.

Sales to clients and user development (mainly dining out).
<Job Description>
- Contact potential customers through telephone sales, visits, and communication.
- Present, promote, and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinate sales activities with team members and other departments.
- Attend industry trade shows, identify sales leads, and engage with existing customers.
- Follow industry trends and identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and submit to management.
- Submit activity and results reports to keep management informed.
<Requirements>
- Have a US work visa (visas cannot be supported)
- 3-10+ years of sales experience
- Fluent English and conversational ability in Japanese are preferred. Fluent Chinese, Korean, and Spanish are also preferred.
- Able to travel for meetings with clients.
- Experience or knowledge in food manufacturing and distribution industry is preferred
- Cooking experience is preferred.
- Basic business experience in Excel, Word, email, etc.
- US driver’s license
