A Japanese food wholesale company located in Hyattsville, Maryland is currently seeking individuals to join us as Outside Sales representatives.

＜Job Description＞

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as designated by the manager.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.
• Visit and support customers and potential customers in the assigned territory, providing information and selling our products.
• Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and assess customer needs.
• Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
• Schedule meetings with potential customers to understand their desires and concerns.
• Input and update orders in a timely manner in the internal database.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and building trust.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
• Frequently create reviews and reports on sales and financial data.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and deliver orders to customers as needed.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
• Negotiate and close deals, handle claims and objections.
• Gather feedback from customers and prospects and share it with the internal team.
• Participate in inventory counting on designated days (including weekends, if necessary).
• Occasionally participate in company events and activities outside of regular working hours.
• Perform other related duties as required.

＜Requirements＞

・Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
・Ability to drive and spend a significant portion of the working hours traveling by car to visit customers in the assigned territory.
・Ability to lift packages weighing 15-25 pounds.
・Possess and maintain a clean driving record.
・High school diploma or equivalent.
