Wood Dale, IL (Chicago) logistics company is looking for an Office Operations position.

Part-time position available after a training period (60-90 days) if desired.
We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
Weekends and holidays are off, so you can work during the week and take a relaxing break on the weekends.
Responsible for the main point of contact for domestic and international customers. (Customer Service)
∙ Communicate with overseas offices, agents, customers, and domestic vendors to assist with freight forwarding.
∙ Arranges shipping documents.
∙ Negotiations and liaison with move coordinators, staff agents, vendors, carriers, and trucking companies.
∙ Prepare invoices, including cost entry and corrections.
∙ Assist and respond to branch office compliance with laws and regulations for business operations.
∙ Perform other administrative duties not listed above on a flexible basis.
Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office)
Experience in the logistics industry preferred
Experience in administrative and accounting positions
Japanese language ability is a plus.
