A major Japanese food wholesale company located in Santa Fe Springs, California is currently seeking an Office Staff member.

<Job Summary>
The Office Staff member will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the branch. Responsibilities include data entry, customer record management, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, telephone handling, filing, and other office-related tasks. This position is open to entry-level applicants.
<Job Responsibilities>
- Process sales orders and purchase orders using Oracle
- Ensure seamless processing of orders through the order processing system
- Use customer inquiry functions to answer questions related to accounts receivable (A/R) and provide responses to customers or sales representatives
- Process checks and cash received from customers
- File documents following company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) and retrieve documents as per sales or customer requests
- Provide support to office staff, sales staff, and warehouse staff
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives, warehouse, and office personnel
- Perform reception duties and handle phone calls
- Understand the PI process and input data accurately without errors
- Understand and locate necessary SOPs when required
<Requirements>
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software
- Business-level proficiency in English
