A Japanese language supplementary school located in San Diego, California is seeking a Saturday supplementary school teacher.
This position begins in April 2026, with training scheduled for March.

Teaching kindergarten, elementary school, or high school (parent assignment to be determined)
In charge of Japanese, arithmetic, and social studies classes
Responsible for teaching Japanese, arithmetic, and social studies.
<Requirements>
Japanese language proficiency at a professional level
Associate degree or higher from Japan, the U.S., or other countries
Must have a valid U.S. work visa
Enjoys working with children and has an interest in education
Teaching experience is preferred
Teaching license not required

*Even those without prior experience will receive thorough guidance from a dedicated training teacher.
*Part-time work is also possible.

| 勤務時間Working Hours | Saturday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (8 hours; lunch time is included, and because there is responsibility for supervising children, this time is considered “on duty” and will be paid). For teachers of middle or high school subjects, work is calculated by class periods, so a full 8-hour Saturday shift does not apply. For weekday lesson preparation time, if you work an 8-hour Saturday, it is calculated as 5.5 hours. This may vary depending on the number of class hours. |
