A Japanese food specialty trading company in El Monte, CA is seeking a Graphic Designer.
This position is to produce advertisements and flyers for events.
<Job Description>
– Design and create monthly newsletters to promote products assigned by the director.
– Create product brochures for weekly in-house tasting events, menu lists for customers, and other promotional materials.
– Maintain and update all sales promotion materials.
– Conduct market research and inventory data analysis to identify potential promotional products and develop future promotional plans.
– Manage and organize promotional materials from manufacturers and distribute to appropriate departments.
– Communicate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and other internal teams to prepare various sales promotion materials.
– Hold meetings related to sales promotion (sample meetings, sales meetings, etc.)
– Participate in semi-annual inventory counts held on designated days (or weekends, as the case may be).
– Attend company events and functions on weekends.
– Perform other related duties
<Requirements>
-Business level English – reading/writing/speaking/listening
– Business level Japanese – reading/writing/speaking/listening
– High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
– 2+ years of related work experience preferred.
-Must have work status to work in the U.S.
