A Japanese restaurant located in Los Altos, California is seeking an experienced Chef/Executive Chef.
<Responsibilities>

Oversee and manage all kitchen operations

Develop menus centered around Japanese cuisine, including seasonal specials

Handle procurement, inventory control, and cost management of ingredients

Recruit, train, and schedule kitchen staff

Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance throughout all cooking processes

Maintain food quality and conduct regular quality checks

Collaborate closely with floor staff, managers, and other departments
<Requirements>

Legal authorization to work in the United States

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Japanese cuisine, including sushi, tempura, and grilled dishes

Prior experience as an Executive Chef

Strong skills in ingredient selection and cost control

Proven leadership and team management abilities
