A Japanese language school in NY is looking for a Principal Director of Education position.
This position is responsible for leading a team of teachers and staff in the field of Japanese language education.
You will be the leader of a team of teachers who teach Japanese language and culture to elementary and middle school students, and you will be responsible for creating a comfortable work environment for the team.
You will be working in an educational institution, so you will enjoy working surrounded by children.
<Requirements>
・Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in Japanese language education (Master’s degree and New York State teaching certification a plus)
・Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Japanese in a K-12 classroom setting
・Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
・In-depth knowledge and understanding of Japanese language education, child development, and bias prevention practices
・Must have completed COVID-19 immunizations (including booster)
