Sales staff (customer specialists)| Major Japanese eyeglass industry

We are currently looking for a store sales associate (customer specialist) position at a major Japanese eyewear company located in Santa Clara, CA.

<Job Description>
・Respond quickly and kindly to customer needs, and actively try to understand customer concerns, requests, and expectations.
・Understand customer complaints regarding products, services, sales, etc., and respond sincerely and honestly.
・Work on eyewear products with speed, efficiency and accuracy.
・As a cooperative and considerate team member, foster a warm, lively and friendly atmosphere.
・Actively participate in store staff meetings to improve customer service, store operations and sales targets.
・Provide appropriate training and support to less experienced team members, and be involved in education as a leader.
・Adjust, fit and make eyeglasses to suit each customer’s individual preferences.
・Build the team’s commitment to high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and setting an example.
・Perform vision tests – operate vision testing equipment and devices.

<Requirements>
・High school or equivalent education (G.E.D)
・Prefer those with ABO certification
・At least 1 year of retail experience
・Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
・Ability to prioritize and schedule time
・Must be able to stand or move around all day in the sales floor and stockroom
