<Job Description>
– Review customer prescriptions and visual requirements and recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, frames, and features appropriate for each customer.
– Provide direct assistance to customers in selecting, ordering, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses.
– Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
– Responds to customer needs in a prompt and friendly manner and proactively understands customer concerns, desires and expectations.
– Understand and respond with honesty and integrity to customer complaints regarding products, services, and sales.
– Conduct sales activities including customer support, payment, sales, returns processing, and responding to customer inquiries.
– Inform customers of return and exchange policies, product and pricing information, warranties, and proper use and care of eyewear.
– Maintain a positive attitude and develop good communication and strong working relationships with co-workers, customers, and managers to create a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.
– Attend regular staff meetings with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to understand company announcements and daily sales goals.
– Attend mandatory training and fully understand the content.
– Adhere to company standards and operating standards in the retail store, including eyewear display and cleanliness.
– Maintain customer prescriptions, orders, payments, and other patient or business records in accordance with company policy and applicable privacy laws regarding patient information.
– Understand the store, product types and features, and merchandise layout, and quickly direct customers to the products they desire.
– Wear appropriate attire and maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code.
– Process and check incoming inventory.
– Adjust and fit eyeglasses using pliers, heating tools, and hands.
– Cut, edge, and fit lenses to frames and assemble eyeglasses.
– Processes payments and performs daily sales activities (e.g., retail cashiering).
– Follow company safety, health, harassment, and security policies. Etc.
<Applicant Qualifications>
– Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to open and close the store
– At least 2 years of sales associate or customer service experience
– Strong communication skills
– High school diploma or equivalent
– At least 1 year of experience in the eyeglass industry
