A major Japanese travel agency is looking for a bilingual Japanese Customer Service Associate to work as a “Destination Concierge” at the Hawaii KONA branch (Hawaii Island) to provide safe and comfortable service to our customers. You will be in direct contact with customers and convey the charm of the Big Island of Hawaii.
<Job Summary>
Respond to visitor and telephone inquiries to the Kona Branch
Handle inquiries regarding Hawaii Island tours
Make reservations, changes, and payments for optional tours, restaurants, events, etc.
Manage and update customer database and collect tourist information
Replenish various brochures and materials, create and update tourist information
Handle emergency response ( Emergency response (complaints, flight delays, etc.), interpretation services
Customer support at Kona Airport (assistance upon arrival and departure, directing customers to their transportation vehicles, etc.)

<Requirements>
Japanese (Native level): Able to make smooth phone calls, documents and conversations.
English (daily conversation level): Able to communicate with clients via email and phone.
Basic operating skills in MS-Office (Word/Excel), Google Workspace, etc.
Ability to operate internal client management system (English).
Hospitality minded and responsible.
Must have permission to work in the U.S.
<Preferred Requirements>
Travel industry experience.
Must be able to commute by car to Kona Branch and Kona Airport.
Must have a U.S. work visa.
