Looking for an accountant for an upscale sushi restaurant located in Denver, Colorado.

<Job Details>
Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process
Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct daily ledger, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
Bring the ledgers to the trial balance stage
Perform partial checks of the posting process
Prepare tax returns Enter data, maintain records, and prepare reports and financial statements Process accounts receivable and payable and payroll in a timely manner
Hire, train and supervise accounting staff Record daily financial transactions and post transactions, ensure compliance with legal requirements
Operate computer programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information
Prepare and maintain financial records by using logbooks, ledgers, or computers to classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data
Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
Maintain historical records by filing documents
Gather, analyze, and summarize account information and prepare financial reports
Balance the general ledger by preparing trial balances and reconciling entries

<Requirements>
Experience in bookkeeping using spreadsheets or specialized software
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payables/receivables principles
Ability to calculate, post, and maintain accounting figures and financial records
Strong data entry skills with strong numerical skills
Proficiency in English and MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Working Hours 9am – 6pm Tuesday-Saturday 5 days a week
※May be required to work on Mondays due to deadlines, etc.
Salary $65,000-(To be determined after interview depending on experience)
